Wedding Wednesday AND a Weekend Recap! Yay Photo Overload!

Little Bit of Class Little Bit of Sass
<div align="center"><a href="http://www.littlebitofclasslittlebitofsass.com/" title="Little Bit of Class Little Bit of Sass"><img src="http://i1249.photobucket.com/albums/hh513/aukris02/weddingwednesdaybutton_zps1bde4fd6.jpg" alt="Little Bit of Class Little Bit of Sass" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

Happy Wednesday everyone!
It's time to link up with me and Kristyn from Chits & Giggles!

My weekend was amazing. So amazing, in fact, that it's taken me until today to recap it. Since it includes a wedding I figured it was fitting to post it today.

My weekend actually started on Wednesday evening with some girlfriends at the Jazzin' at the Shed. I love how the aquarium hosts a live jazz event after hours. It was so fun strolling through the usually screaming-children-filled-exhibits as jazz thankfully filled the fishy air.

Ugh that view! Never gets old.

Thursday morning as we geared up for our drive to Ohio a certain someone was trying to sneak his way into my bag.

Nice try, Teddy.

On our drive we happened upon a cool shrine. I thought we could grab some birthday gifts for my Mom, and we walked around the gorgeous church for a few minutes.

I was silly and didn't take any photos of Callie and Mike's rehearsal.

I did, however, take a photo of her cute wrapping for our gifts!

She gave us so much stuff! Very generous!!!

After our delicious meal at Bel Lago, I bid adieu to Andrew and hung out with the bride!
We gabbed until about 2:30 in the morning. Whoops! Oh well, we woke up without an alarm at 7:30. Too excited to sleep!!!

The whole day was so incredible.
The gals got ready together and the hair and make-up stylists came to us.
It took out the stress since they came to the hotel and we didn't have to drive to a salon.
We even finished early and drove to Otterbein to take pictures at Theta Nu!

PS I absolutely love how the stylist did my hair and make-up. Fake eyelashes are so fun!

Before we knew it we were on our way to the church!

Callie was stunning.
Just stunning.

I wish I took more photos but I was too busy having a blast.
There's something just so wonderful about watching your best friend get married. It's amazing! :)

I also love that my parents, brother and sister-in-law were there. We had a fantastic time on the dance floor!

Needless to say, I was asleep before my head hit the pillow that night!

But the fun didn't stop there!

The next morning we went to meet our photographer, Tessa, from Starling Studios! She was even more lovely in person. I'm pretty sure we gabbed for an hour. So fun!

We popped by Otterbein for a quick stroll around campus with my favorite Schneider's donuts in hand!
Andrew even got an Otterbein t-shirt!
I, however, did not get anything because everything I liked said "Otterbein University," and not "Otterbein College." Yes I'm stubborn.

After that it was off to my 10-year high school reunion!

My fellow class officers and I planned it at Rockmill Brewery, a fun family-owned brewery in the country. It is gorgeous! Unfortunately not many people out of our class of 70 could make it, but those of us who could come had a great time! I can't wait to see more pictures, especially the one of our whole group!

I loved seeing my classmates after all of this time, and we decided to definitely have a 15-year! I've known some of them since pre-school and kindergarten. Gotta love 12 years at a Catholic School!

The rest of the evening was spent with my family. I miss them so much!

We drove back to Chicago very early on Sunday, which was bittersweet. We wish we had more time with family but were happy to have more time to get ready for the week...and to nap and watch football!

Well that about wraps up the long and busy weekend!

Did you attend any weddings this weekend or accomplish anything on your wedding to-do list?

[I'm also linking up with my usual Monday gals, since this is a weekend update, too!]

These past two weeks we have crossed off a BUNCH of the big to-do's! I can't believe it!

And it's been so fun!

Last weekend we got the bridal transportation squared away and schedule our engagement photo shoot (this Sunday!). This past weekend Andrew and I drove to Ohio for an incredible trip. Andrew's mom was there, too, so it was a fun group!

We got to our reception tasting RIGHT at the time of our appointment. We were stressing! Silly construction, I tell ya!

You guys. The food.is.awesome.

It was so tough to make a choice but we settled on something our guests will really enjoy!

Here are all of the place setting options:

Then it was on to the food. Lots of food. And wine. LOTS of wine!

I can't show you allll of the photos we took, but I can share a little preview!

I love the windows in The Athletic Club. I can't wait to take some photos when we're all gussied up and husband and wife!

After that we went to the florist, started our registry at Macy's and had a lovely dinner.
Saturday we picked out tuxes, met with the priest, went to Mass and went to our Rehearsal Dinner location for dinner!

Sunday we drove back and pretty much crashed!

Phew! Tiring!
So so so fun, though! We had a great time!

Have a wedding-related story to share?
We welcome them all, just please link back to us!

Free retweets if you mention @marysue20 and #WeddingWednesday!
I know Kristyn will do the same (she's @chits_giggles)!
We could favorite the tweets, too, but that'll cost ya.

Wedding Wednesday: List Update!

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

First of all, please forgive me. I've had a migraine for 16 straight days now, so not only has my posting been minimal, so has my reading. I truly do appreciate all of you who link up and take the time to write posts day after day! I will catch up, but when I don't have to look at a computer I tend to choose not to, you know?

Anyway, I have so much to share today!

By the way, my partner in wedding crime, Kristyn from Chits and Giggles, has a new blog layout! It's so beautiful!!!

Over the AMAZING weekend at home in Ohio Andrew and I accomplished quite a bit!
We chose our readings and music for the ceremony and met with the music director, we chose our cake baker (my friend from high school!) and we chose our baker for our cookie table! Lemme tell ya, we sure did enjoy those tastings! I also researched wedding make-up and had a trial. It was terrible so I'm still on the hunt! I confirmed our hair stylist, too! Our stylist did my hair for senior prom and my sister's wedding...and she does my mom's hair all of the time! She's incredible and I can't wait for my trial over Christmas! Finally, I chose my wedding shoes! I'm so glad I wrote the post on Sunday about my dilemma because wowsah you all came through with fantastic suggestions! I found Kate Spade shoes on Amazon for a STEAL on Sunday night and am praying that they fit! We shall see!!

Here are a few pictures from the weekend:

Delicious cupcakes, iChat with the cutest turkey ever, my disappointing make-up trial, delicious cookie tasting, setting up for the cake tasting/playing tea party, cutest cookies that my mom made, and that last little thing on the bottom left is a mum made into a turkey. Loved it, bought it, gave it.

While we do have all of the big stuff finished (aside from the invitations) we just have details!
