Wedding Wednesday - On a Tuesday!

Wedding Wednesday
Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Kristyn and I thought we should start the link-up today just in case folks would rather post and read today instead of during their post-NYE recovery tomorrow. Your choice!

Last week I crossed off another item on the list: my hair trial!
It was so fun! My stylist was incredible and did everything that I want! She's also a seamstress and is going to fix my brooch and the hair piece on Andrew's family's veil! There's also a MAC make-up artist at the same salon and she will do our make-up! I just need to set up a trial with her the next time I'm in town.

It was so special to have my mom, sister and sister-in-law with me during the trial! We had a great time!

I will say, that looking at myself in the 'do I want, topped with the veil, really hit me that this is happening - and soon! 4 months! AHH! So much to do! AHH! So much toning and weight losing to accomplish! AHH AHH AHH!!!

Sorry, no pictures of the hair trial since Andrew reads the blog. If you're really curious let me know and I will email you a pic.

Aside from that, we are still working on the invitations, and figuring out where to get our rings. Also, January 2 is GO time. We are really going to kick our healthy lifestyle into high gear. I have less than four months to not hate how I look. It's a challenge that I accept!

How are you doing? Did you advance on your plans over Christmas?

Leave a comment and join our linkup! Kristyn and I sure do love it when you do!

Please share the link-up on social, too, if you want!

Morning After Christmas Workout

I don't know about you, but yesterday left me feeling incredibly happy. There's nothing like being around family, is there? :)

However, I'm also feeling quite hefty. I woke up before the rest of the house this morning and did some workouts to make me feel a little bit better about those Irish Coffees and sweets! And, with exactly 4 months until the Big Day, I need all of the workouts I can get!!

This workout is proof that you don't need weights or a gym (or a ton of space!) to get a little sweaty. No excuses!! :)

Doing all of these took almost an hour. It was amazing!

What are you doing to drop the holiday heft??

Wedding Wednesday!

Merry Christmas, friends!! No link-up today, but I will give a quick and fun picture!

Last night after Christmas Eve Mass, Lizzie practiced her Flower Girl walk down the aisle! She rocked it!!!

Hope you're enjoying our Savior's Birthday!!!

Wedding Wednesday: Inquiry for Invitations!

Little Bit of Class Little Bit of Sass

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Not much to report on the wedding front this week, except that I did pick out a vintage broach to use in my hair for The Big Day!

It was such a pleasant experience, visiting Vintage Underground in Wicker Park. A gal there was so wonderful and took a lot of time and care in helping me pick out the perfect accouterment!

Aside from that happy development, we are so busy with work and the holiday that it's tough to focus on the wedding!

One thing I am thinking about lately, though, is invitations. We need to order them soon! Only about four months away!

So here's where I need you, dear readers.

Please give me any tips on where you have looked and where you have booked!
Online shops, Etsy, traditional stores in the Chicago area, I want to hear it!

Or: Did you DIY yours? Do you have a tutorial to share?

I will then compile everything (if I get responses!) into a little Invitation Guide so other future brides can benefit.

In terms of what we're looking for, we want a classic, traditional invitation. My parents have one of theirs framed and I want to do the same!

Thanks in advance and have a wonderful week!!!

Wedding Wednesday!

Little Bit of Class Little Bit of Sass

<div align="center"><a href="http://www.littlebitofclasslittlebitofsass.com/" title="Little Bit of Class Little Bit of Sass"><img src="http://i1249.photobucket.com/albums/hh513/aukris02/weddingwednesdaybutton_zps1bde4fd6.jpg" alt="Little Bit of Class Little Bit of Sass" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Last week was my big update, so I don't have much to report this week.

However, if you saw on my Instagram, my dream shoes arrived and they fit PERFECTLY!
Talk about a happy future bride!

Aside from that, not much is new. We've been working on getting out our Christmas cards, decorating and shopping for gifts.

What I have been day-dreaming about, though, is our cookie and cake table at the reception. I think it will be super cute! Yes, I'm being a girl right now. I realize this. And yes, we have two bakers. You may think we're crazy, but I just think: double the bakers, double the fun!

The cookie table is a family tradition. It's a fun way to give a little favor at the end of the evening, especially if people don't prefer cake.
[Side note: my friend is baking our cake and we tasted a sample. WOW it's good. Everyone will definitely want some!]

We're also doing a non-traditional favor, but I will share that with you during recaps of the Big Day!

Here are some images from my Pinterest Inspiration Board that strike my fancy:

Little Bit of Class Tuesday

Oh winter.

I just love winter fashion.

Well, let's just say that I love the idea of winter fashion, meaning that if it were between 30-50 degrees consistently, these little classy getups may work:

Ohhh if these looks were only possible.

However, if you're in the 8-degree Chicago weather, the fashion looks more like this.

Hmmmm I could have fun with this...

Have a good one! Stay warm!

Bloopers!

When Cassie emailed me and a few other bloggers about her idea I immediately knew that I was up for the challenge.

Rarely do I take a perfect shot, so a blooper idea during the holiday season sounds right up my alley!

Want to join in the fun?
Feel free to post your photos that didn't turn out very well on Instagram and use #ChristmasCardBloopers2013!

If you think about it, the imperfect shots sometimes capture the moment even better!

I will definitely have a few to contribute this season for sure!

Won't you join us??

See you on Instagram!

Wedding Wednesday: List Update!

First of all, please forgive me. I've had a migraine for 16 straight days now, so not only has my posting been minimal, so has my reading. I truly do appreciate all of you who link up and take the time to write posts day after day! I will catch up, but when I don't have to look at a computer I tend to choose not to, you know?

Anyway, I have so much to share today!

By the way, my partner in wedding crime, Kristyn from Chits and Giggles, has a new blog layout! It's so beautiful!!!

Over the AMAZING weekend at home in Ohio Andrew and I accomplished quite a bit!
We chose our readings and music for the ceremony and met with the music director, we chose our cake baker (my friend from high school!) and we chose our baker for our cookie table! Lemme tell ya, we sure did enjoy those tastings! I also researched wedding make-up and had a trial. It was terrible so I'm still on the hunt! I confirmed our hair stylist, too! Our stylist did my hair for senior prom and my sister's wedding...and she does my mom's hair all of the time! She's incredible and I can't wait for my trial over Christmas! Finally, I chose my wedding shoes! I'm so glad I wrote the post on Sunday about my dilemma because wowsah you all came through with fantastic suggestions! I found Kate Spade shoes on Amazon for a STEAL on Sunday night and am praying that they fit! We shall see!!

Here are a few pictures from the weekend:

Delicious cupcakes, iChat with the cutest turkey ever, my disappointing make-up trial, delicious cookie tasting, setting up for the cake tasting/playing tea party, cutest cookies that my mom made, and that last little thing on the bottom left is a mum made into a turkey. Loved it, bought it, gave it.
