Another wedding weekend is in the books! All three this month have been amazing - and different! I love how each couple represented themselves and their creativity with the decor, but most importantly, it was fun and inspiring to see our dear friends & fam so insanely happy!
The weather was perfect for driving through the Ohio country, and even though it rained a bit on the wedding day, Cappello never looked more beautiful! You should have seen Chris when he saw her walk down the aisle - it was priceless.
I also obviously thoroughly enjoyed catching up with my sorority sisters (top picture) - we certainly danced the night away!
If you're curious about what the couple are drinking in the middle-bottom picture, that would be 40s. Yes, we stopped the shuttle on the way to take pictures so the groomsmen could hop out and grab 40s for the bridal party from a drive-through liquor store. I lived the High Life all the way through downtown Canton, OH.
And finally, a quick story about this picture:
This, my dear friends, is the world's best photobomb. We saw this gentleman traverse the street in front of the shuttle only to walk past the happy couple, clad in jorts and displaying his recent purchase of heavy duty kitty litter. The groom later told us that the bright backpack contained a cat, as could only be surmised by the pathetic meowing coming from within.
Oh, Ohio, how I've missed thee.
I hope all of your weekends were full of fun and laughter! My cheeks still hurt from all of the smiling!
I just woke up in a small town Ohio hotel, remembered my dream, and had to share.
I was on the Jimmy Fallon show.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Here is what I remember: I showed up totally late, and literally ran on the stage. I proceeded then to spaz and look around like a fat kid in a candy store (or how I act in Chipotle. Choose whichever imagery works for you). I chatted with Jimmy about how much I sweat, promoted some charity work, and then after the commercial break I taught Jimmy some dance moves while rocking out with the band.
I love Wednesdays now, thanks to Rachel at You Just Can't Google Everything. Since I am attending and standing up in one of my absolute best friend's weddings this Saturday, I thought I would post some hilarious pictures of us over the years. Let's get this party started!
This would be a donut run. Since most of my readers have never heard of my alma mater, let me explain. There is an AMAZING bakery a stone's throw from Otterbein, and it opened at 1 a.m. Donut Runs became a tradition, and the picture above is me and some fellow pledge class sisters enjoying a late night snack. Cappello, the bride-to-be, is the one making the odd face. That's my girl!
Here we are dancing...I'm not sure why I'm dressed as a penguin and she's not dressed up, buuuut it was Halloween. Maybe we started the dance party before the party? Highly possible.
Here's our pledge class junior year.
We went to Savannah for St. Patrick's Day senior year. Spring Break! Woo!!
I had just moved to DC, she had just moved to NYC, and here we are, celebrating a reunion at Mille & Al's in Adams Morgan.
I have this one in a frame!
I could go on and on (seriously, you should see my Facebook pictures!), but I will leave you with this dance party. Molly, Douce, me, and Cappello. Dancing on a stage at Adobe Gilas. Doesn't get much better.
