Wedding Question: Shoes? What Shoes?

OK gals, I have a lovely problem. Truly it's not a big deal but I'm starting to get a little frustrated.

You see, I need some collective intelligence, especially since Cyber Monday is upon us. I feel like I've looked everywhere and have yet to find my shoes. I know, I know, I'm ridiculous.

The problem? I want ivory. I know I could do a different color but truthfully I simply do not want to. Ivory is super difficult to find, especially considering my other stipulations (I'm picky!).

The other problems: I hate sling backs and peep-toed heels because I have wide feet and basically those styles are always uncomfortable for me. I also prefer a round toe with a heel at 3.5 inches or less. If the shoes are plain that's fine, because I can find a shoe clip (bows!) on Etsy.

However, I have looked high and low and have yet to find anything under $150. OK I found one, but it's still more than I would like to pay. Ideally I'd like to pay around $100 or less. I'm also open to sandals but would prefer a pump. I know many brides spend hundreds on their shoes but I'm just not one of them...especially since I plan to wear Toms or flats of some sort while I dance my heart out during the reception.

Here's where I've looked so far:
  • DSW
  • Nordstrom
  • Zappos
  • Piperlime
  • 6pm
  • Kohl's
  • My Glass Slipper (this site has my ONLY contender right now)
  • Nine West (they don't even sell ivory!)
  • Macy's
  • Lori's Shoes
  • Random Chicago boutiques
  • Kate Spade (haha I know I'm dreaming!)
  • Neiman Marcus
  • Random shoe store in my hometown
  • Von Maur
  • Aldo
  • Steve Madden
I'm also scouring David's Bridal. Dyeable options are fine too, I guess, but I've never done it!

So here's my question: did I miss anything? Do you know of anywhere that I should look?
Chicago gals, any tips on where to go in the city?

I still have time since my fittings don't start until January/February, but it would be nice to catch a sale if possible!

Thank you for your help!

Have you checked Amazon? I just hopped on and searched "ivory round toe pump" and lots of results came up. Not sure what your other criteria are but there were some cute ones. Give it a shot if you haven't already! And you're not being ridiculous, shoes are a big pick. Good luck! And if you need a shoe shopping buddy I'm always in!

I wore Jack Rogers sandals for my wedding- and it was perfect. My husband surprised me by writing love letters on the bottom (does he use Pinterest??) and the sharpie didn't fade all day. They were super comfortable, and I was able to wear them again and again on our honeymoon, throughout summer, and even to work- which isn't a benefit that many typical wedding shoes give you. I also loved that I didn't have to get my dress fitted strategically for heels for the ceremony and then toms or flip flops for the reception…I just kept them on and was comfortable and content the whole time! They have a ton of great colors, I got the champagne colored to match my jewelry with my ivory gown, but was -this- close to getting the monogrammed option in ivory with navy monogram, to match my bridesmaids' colors.

I am in the same boat as you are, it seems. I haven't found anything that remotely is what I want for my wedding shoes but I don't really want to spend a ton on them either. I think I want a flat or a sandal but something festive. Who knows! Keep searching. Maybe after December they will have more options out there?

I got my wedding shoes from Kohls...but I wore purple. I have had dyeable shoes from David's Bridal before for a wedding I was in. They messed them up the first time, but re-did them so that they were right...so if you go that route, just make sure you give yourself plenty of time, just in case they don't turn out right the first time!
