Little Bit of Class Tuesday - A Wedding Theme

Shocking that I would write about weddings, I know.

Sorry, we have 200 days to go, so while it's not all I can think about it sure does take up quite a bit of my thoughts.

Plus, with our upcoming weekend of wedding planning I've been attempting to stay up to date on my wedding etiquette by reading my Emily Post book and other online sources.

It was interesting to me, then, that the knot sent me an article called "Bad Wedding Etiquette Comebacks: classy comebacks for all those unwanted wedding planning opinions." How timely!

This article was as interesting as it was appalling. I can't believe that people would actually say these things!

Here's a quick list:

I mean, I can't imagine being asked these questions and I feel bad for brides and grooms who have!

Admittedly, someone asked me if he/she was going to be invited to our wedding. That...was awkward.

I've heard almost every bride say that they've been asked about kids at their wedding. I mean, c'mon. One thing at a time, people!

Please read the article for classy and/or cheeky ways to answer these questions/statements.
How would you respond?

Oh my goodness...I can't imagine being asked these questions! How nuts is that? HA!

We did get weird looks when we said we were getting married in 2014. That didn't really go over very well...but whatever. We wanted it and I am so glad that we are taking our time!

I don't understand where people get the idea that asking any of that is ok. My parents said some people at their wedding actually took bets on how long it would last. Obviously they all lost, it's been 31 years and most of those people are dead now.
Admittedly when one of my best friends got engaged, I asked what color the bridesmaids dress will be (red, obvs, that's my profile photo on my blog) but we've known we'd be each other's bridesmaids since we were 11!
