Week 2 (Again)

Howdy readers!

So as I wrote last week, Andrew and I got back on the Weight Watchers wagon. I'm really happy we're back to a healthier lifestyle and I feel so much better. If you forgot, I am documenting my Weight Watchers journey because writing it down to share with everyone is a motivator. I hate writing when I have gains, but I do it! It just pushes me that much harder knowing other people are cheering for me to be healthy and successful.

Weekly Update:
Weight loss:
I lost 1.6 pounds!

Total weight loss:
1.6 - I don't count anything before this. It's a brand new day, after all ;)

Pounds remaining to reach goal weight:
31.3 - goodness. Can I do it? I sure hope so.

I did not come up with my goal weight arbitrarily. This goal weight is based on the WW site guidelines. My goal weight is actually on the heavy range for my age and height. It's weird to imagine me at that weight because the last time I was that weight was, well, junior high? I'm not too sure. My goal size is a size 4 but I will be happy with a 6 because I do remember the last time I wore a size 6 was in 6th grade. Right now I wear a 10 and am flirting with a size 8. So, no I'm not fat and I don't think I am. I just know I could look healthier - and I LOVE the toned look! When I was at my thinnest senior year of college I comfortably wore an 8 and even bought a size 6 jean from Target for $10. They were snug, but hey, I got into them! You better believe I still have those and am dying to wear them. OK wow I can't believe I am admitting all of this. Do you think I'm crazy?

Overall mood this week:
Honestly I was hoping for a bigger loss considering I ate SO much better than I have in a while. At the same time, though, all I do is The Butt Bible which is mainly toning, so that could be the culprit. I guess I should vary it a little, but I just love the exercises! And, call me crazy, but after three weeks of it I am seeing results. Yay for muscles!!! :) So yeah, overall, I've been happy this week because I am content knowing that I am treating myself well by eating right and working out.

Worked out:
6 times! Like I said, though, it was all Butt Bible (and one day of yoga!) in my living room, plus a lot of walking. I should run. I just hate it and it hurts my knees. Suggestions? Motivation?? Imagine myself in those size 6 jeans perhaps?
